Hey all,

I was just wondering if anyone has any idea where Auckland Zoo's Sumatran Tiger triplets Jalur, Berani and Cinta may be going when they leave the zoo. I have word that they will be leaving when they are 2 years old but I have no idea where they are off to.

Any news at all is welcome even if it is even just a rumour someone has heard.

I would love to know asap.

Just thinking about them leaving upsets me but I would love to know where they may be off to to calm my nerves down a bit. :(

hmm that surprises me that Jalur and Cinta would be moving to live together. that just means that they wont be bred from for a while. I would have thought Cinta would be moving alone and the boys would be staying together.

I hope they will be happy there. I bet they will.
 
Hopefully the zoo will release details about Berani's destination when the time for them to leave gets closer.
 
I saw them on the weekend in the large enclosure, they were so big I caouldn't tell which of the four was Molek...
 
yeas its very hard these days. unless you can see their markings clearly or you know their personalities extremely well you pretty much cant tell. Really the only way to tell Molek from the cubs is that she just looks more mature.
 
The plan is for Berani to stay at Auckland Zoo where he will become their new breeding male. Molek will stay in New Zealand, most likely at Auckland Zoo while a new female is brought in for Berani to mate with in the future.
 
So what about Oz? surely they can't have 2:2 without a third exibit?
 
Ive heard somewhere that Oz and Molek may be moving on with Berani becoming the zoos breeding male. Though I have also heard Berani will be moving later on.

Can anyone confirm anything about this?
