2 remarkeble birth in this little unknown zoo :
a Fennec fox female of just 1 year old gave birth to a healty young !
the Hausa gennet ( Genetta thierryi ) is kept in Europe in just 2 collections - Aue and Pilsen - and 4 years ago Aue had the world first breeding with this species. Now another cub has been born.

Caracal born at Aue but the female refused the kitten. Now it's raised by a domestic cat which had kittens herself .

The Hausa gennet pair Lumumba and Jambo produced again an healthy young
Tanzania dwarf chameleons ( Rieppeleon brevicaudatus ) 2 young being raised at the moment.

After the zoo had to put to sleep the older North Chinese leopard female in March. LILA was nearly 23 years old. Nearly the absolute longevity record for the subspecies. The zoo is freshing up the exhibit and should receive the male from Paris, Jardin des Plantes.
