Just a little correction - but Mandji was already in the main group headed by Banjoko. For the record, Mintha and Mandji (she is a very big female) are still going strong at Apenheul in the Netherlands, at the ripe old ages of circa 51. After living in a smaller splinter group for some years with the older silverback BaoBao, after he died they were recently reintegrated (very easily) back into the main group led by younger male Banjoko. This meant Mintha rejoined her youngest grand-daughter fathered by Banjoko.
Mintha was of course, as you say, reunited with her youngest daughter Mfugaji, and Mandji with her adult daughter Nemsi, who adopted the young Kiango.
