Darling Downs Zoo Birth:

As reported by @Zorro in the DDZ news thread, a colt was recently born.

The mother should be Zavannah who last gave birth September 2024.

Confirmed.

National Zoo Birth:

A filly was born 06/09 to parents Tambo and Johari.

This therefore means that the foal born a few months ago was born to Kiva.

National Zoo welcomes its 29th baby zebra

Foal Named:

As mentioned in the news thread, the filly born to Johari has been named 'Amani' after a public vote.

Monarto Safari Park Birth:

As has been reported in the News Thread, a foal was born three days ago to mum Cecile.

The foal's sex is currently unknown; and this is the first foal Monarto's announced for this year.

Tasmania Zoo Birth:

Brilliant news from Tasmania today - a foal has been born to the zoo's resident pair, Atreyu (ex Altina/Werribee) and Zia (ex Mogo/DDZ).

The foal has yet to be sexed or named - so further updates to come.

This is the first Zebra foal in the Zoo's history.

It is wonderful news, I hope they could add another female if possible!
