Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park

I just had a look at their website and the devils are now on show. Also on there is a piece about their potential forced closure due to sand-mining on their border

Hey there.

I've recently come across a park i've never heard of before.

Here's the website, Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park - HOME+

It appears to be a open range, bushland area full of native animals without cages.

Has anyone been? What's it like? Worth a visit?

Never been there but drove past it on my way out to Waterfall Springs a couple of weeks back.

It is on an old section of the Pacific Hwy (I think- I'm not too clear about NSW roads). It was oriigionally started by the former Hawke government minister Barry Cohen in around 2001, and they were ARAZPA members then.

It is in a scenic region and apparently quite large in area, over 100 acres?

I've met the current owners at a couple of tourism trade shows, and they seem like nice people.
