Australia Walkthrough Idea

For get a more diverse group than just lizards, add a carpet python and a White's tree frog.

Isn't handling bad for this species?
Yes, if you don't wet your hands. Before handling green Tree frogs you have to throughly wash you hands with chlorine free water. The reasoning behind this is that certain oils excrete out of human hands that can damage the frogs skin.

The next room is much larger and features the nocturnal animals of Australia (wombats, echidna, and tasmanian devils). All nocturnal animals are exhibited in pits with fake rocks, fake trees, plants, and sand. The wombats have the largest exhibit, tasmanian devils, second largest, and echidnas third largest
Echidnas are certainly not nocturnal, they are very active during the day. Wombats and devils are commonly kept in outdoor enclosures. They spend a lot of time sleeping, but do spend some time wandering around their enclosure during the day.
