There has been a baby southern white rhino born at Blair drummond safari park, and now it's on show, at 12 days of age. Just thought some of you rhino fans might want to know.
At last a new group of rhinos has started breeding! Equally important, the calf born 25/8/2007 is a female (very few females are born into the European white rhino population)!
Does anyone have any more info on the parentage? His the old male Dick the father or the newly imported bull from South Africa? And which of the females Dorothy or Jane is the mother?
Some of the news from the safari park, they are also building a paddock next to the bird of prey centre, does anyone know what new species is coming into the park?
They will also have a free flying white tailed sea eagle for the new season. Blair Drummond Safari & Adventure Park
