ZSL Whipsnade Zoo baby elephant..

Difficult in her case means difficult with humans, not with other elephants. There is a very easy solution for her problems with the keepers - protected contact. Too bad that Whipsnade sticks to direct contact with all the elephants.
 
I thought only a few of the elephants at Whipsnade were still in direct contact - the females and young that are taken out for walks .

Much more understanding in the sense, that in Twycross she grew up with her family, so it would seem a little strange if she was aggressive to her fellow elephants. Then again it has happened before ( only cases I know of are in wild herds)


A captive born elephant named Komali born in Zurich was put down due to aggressiveness, however I don't know in how she was aggressive and who to.
 
Kaz, I just caught the GM.tv Anglia news this morning and the baby is now out on walks with her mother round the zoo. She is a mischievous little one and sure to be a great attraction.
 
i saw her out for a walk on saturday. she was so cute running alongside her mother trying to keep up! :)
