A male baby Francois langur, named Keo-co, has made his debut today. His mother is Saigon and father is Hanoi, who are the parents of Elke the first born langur.

I saw this guy when he was only 24 hours old on the last day of January. The keepers were monitoring him and recording every thing all the group did, all day. It was particularly special as I was one of the first to notice and see him-even some keepers had not seen him!

That was a very special event for you. I'm envious. Hanoi and Saogon have proven to be reliable breeders (if not reliable parents) having a youngster about this time each year since their first in 2009.I hope that they raise this one this time.
