Need help getting a ball python warm up. Do nor know the sex will not eat and as not move or got out of of hide rook in about 6 months.

Need help getting a ball python warm up. Do nor know the sex will not eat and as not move or got out of of hide rook in about 6 months.

A friend of mine had a Russian tortoise that didn't eat for about three months since it was kept in an enclosure that was too cold in the pet store. Eventually she got it to eat just by keeping him warm and coaxing him with food. In time he developed quite the ravenous appetite. Research how warm the tank needs to be and get a heat rock. Place the snake on the heat rock and see if it starts to move around. Then try feeding it.

If it stinks it's probably dead.

it might be useful to have some more information. Is this your snake or someone elses? How is the tank set up, what sort of heating does it have now etc? Why has it taken six months to decide something is wrong? You haven't really given anything to be able to make a judgement on.

Friends and they just tell me. The ball python is in a 20 gallon fish tank with nothing and a hiding rock in it
