There's quite a bit of work going on here, including the tigers viewing windows being replaced (I think Kuzma is at Africa Alive, where I went as well, but nothing to report from there).
The Ocelot have gone, female died I think and the male has gone to Amazona. Their enclosure have been rebuilt and the Pallas cats have moved in.
The Pallas cats enclosure has been flattened, so I guess it will just be rebuilt in the same way as the neighbouring enclosure .... I overheard someone say that Margay will be going in there.
The encloseure next to the Siamang, (were Spider monkeys in there?) is being revamped just now.
The Sri Lankan leopard cub is venturing outside and looks like he wants to play with dad, who has access to the small outdoor bit, but I suppose gets a turn in the main enclosure too.

Thanks for the update! Did you get any pics of the new pallas cat exhibit? Thanks :)

Some pics of the work going on:

New Spider Monkey enclosure and work going on on the Siamang enclosure, both look like refurbs of the old enclosures.

Pallas cats enclosure (a refurb of the old Ocelot enclosures), it appears the babies are on the left and possibly dad on the right as I think they were seperated?

@Embu they had a couple of births at the end of last year, boy and girl

sorry, that was AA wasn't it .... I saw the news on Banhams facebook which confused me.
There are five at Banham, but I don't know the sexes then :D
I've added another photo of them, but couldn't get them all with their necks straight. Two definitely looked smaller, but maybe not as much as I first thought,

Banham Zoo have received a £93,300 grant from the Government's Green Recovery Challenge Fund. The money will be spent to build an on-site hatchery for the white-clawed crayfish, as part of a collaborative project with the Norfolk Rivers Trust to try and both restore and protect the species in Norfolk.

More information about the grant can be found in the link below:

That is a net project that!

Banham and Africa Alive have recently been offering entry at only £5 per person on selected days. The next date I know of is 31st October. There was still a lot of availability left when I booked my tickets yesterday.
