Munkholm Zoo Barbary macaques on the run- again

Again, Barbary macaques have escaped in Denmark, this time four from the Munkholm Zoo on Djursland. (Again a small private zoo).

They have been on the run since Saturday morning, and attempts to shoot them with tranquliser darts, or catch them by giving them mased bananas with sedatives have so far failed. (THey ate the banana mash, but didn't fall asleeep as expected).

All four back home with last caught two days ago. It soon became clear that they stayed in the same small wooded patch all the time and this allowed the keepers to take it slow (using cages instead of more risky/stressful tranquilizer gun).
