There was a newer video but I couldn't find it now,the pangolin was replaced by a quoll or a chinchilla I forgot ....
If that's the case, that'd be quite the shame

They still do actually, weirdly as an entrance for a rather mundane aquarium. So I'm completely unfamiliar with the Batu Secret Zoo but I have quite an interest on it after looking through its media.
Does the Zoo happen to still have the Night House, I couldn't find any footage online. And if so, what species are still there

If I remember correctly from a footage from April 2024 they have (In exhibit order) nutria, sugar glider, long-tailed chinchilla, Javan ferret badger, Javan slow loris, brush-tailed possum, spectral tarsier, common spotted cuscus, and sunda pangolin.
Correct, but if I remember correctly it doesn't last for more than a year before being rotated once again.Guess the video did not film finish the entire night house....If I remembered correctly there was a striped possum exhibit or I am wrong..
Looks like there's only one on display.@Rizz Carlton Thanks for the info
One more question how many pangolins are on display at the night house as of now?
Ragunan Zoo in Jakarta have a couple on display.
These are definitely the additions that have me interested the most, some of these species seem genuinely really coolSome updates regarding Batu Secret zoo's collection and exhibits (April 2024)
- The zoo's aquarium also seemed to hold several interesting species, which include papyrocranus afer, arothon nigropunctatus, and gymnothorax fimbriatus.
- In what currently is my most favorite addition, a new frog and toad zone has been added, taking some parts of the reptile section of the Fantastic Aquarium. The species hosted there include Rio Azuela glass frog, harlequin tree frog, Indonesian bubble-nest frog, Sumatran tree toad, cross toad, and pearly tree frog all in a decent terrarium. Aside from Asian horned frog and several other terrrariums that will come, its not confirmed wether the zoo's mossy frog and mission golden-eyed tree frog will also be exhibited here too.
- An turqoise monitor has been added as part of the zoo's already interesting varanid collection.
Normal zoo as in the rest of other Indonesian zoos? I wouldn't say so tbh. Batu still have a number of interesting species only rivaled by Taman Safari Indonesia and maybe Gembira Loka in term of number of them. From the list of animals they has now I think the interest has decreased. They have animals that normal zoos have. It's not like before when they had animals that were hard to find, such as Long-beaked echidna , Otter civet
Ok, I've done messed up. Apparently the sloth wasn't present back then, arriving at the zoo since April 24 and was only displayed on June 18.The Secret of the Amazonian Jungle aviary are a rather small and barren aviary which houses a family of South American tapir, as well as a group of Guianan squirrel monkey, white-faced whisting ducks, and innaccurately some red-eared sliders. A sloth (Possibly Linnaeus's two-toed sloth) was supposedly also inside the aviary, though its probably easier to view it during the "VIP tour" (And here I though Taman Safari are more capitalistic lol
