Updates from today:

• The goshawk and chipmunk appear to have left the collection, their enclosures remain empty.
• The waterfowl aviary remains empty.
• The Peregrine Falcon was off-exhibit and the exhibit appears to be undergoing renovations.
• Broad-winged Hawks have moved into the former outdoor mockingbird exhibit (also former crow and SEOW and badger).
• Northern Saw-whet Owl has moved back into the outdoor exhibit (allegedly, according to the signage).

The outdoor saw-whet exhibit had a Northern Mockingbird in it today.

The Snow Goose has moved into the old river otter exhibit.

The Tundra Swan is back on exhibit in the Observation Building.

The Tundra Swan is now signed in the same exhibit as the Snow Goose, but it was obviously absent.

The Peregrines and Gyrfalcon have been absent for a while now, not sure if they're still present.

The signage in the Woodland Building has been updated and the squirrels are now signed as Northern Flying Squirrels rather than Southern. I'm not sure which ID is correct.

I contacted the facility via email and they told me their group of flying squirrels is a mix of both Northern and Southern. Neat!

A Mourning Dove hatched recently and is on exhibit in the Grassland Aviary. It was so cute to see its parent feeding it!

After a long absence of the species, Bay Beach recently obtained two North American River Otters which are now on exhibit in the space the previous otters had inhabited.

The Raptor Trail is closed until further notice due to bird flu.

A Red-shouldered Hawk, a new species for the collection, is now living in the old goshawk enclosure. There are plans for a renovation of the Raptor Trail.
