In fairness Beale does still have a rather nice bird collection - in fact I'm planning on visiting soon for the express purpose of seeing some of the species there!

It does have great birds, and I am very impressed with the new developments and the way things are going. It's excellent!
However I am still a bit sad one of the bird aviaries got handed over to the lemurs, it's a great space for them, but I really liked that aviary, great mix of species in a lovely aviary.

Be warned that Zootierliste is out of date - and that the Jandaya
parakeets, Southern masked-weavers, and Emma’s conure (at least) are no longer present (or so I was told, after some time looking for them.)
Odd question but are the California quails still there?
There's one male that's soon to be rehomed to somewhere he can be paired up.
DING DING DING DING DING!!! Well done. We have some lovely adorable grey mouse lemurs on display in The Twilight Zone.
Another 2 great new species in this week too, but they're held off show for now til we get their enclosures ready.
Also, the eclectus parrots have been moved back on show today, now we're over the worst of the winter. They've joined the green winged macaws and yellow armadillos.

Oh excellent! Are the lemurs from Cotswolds? They had loads there when I visited couple weeks ago.

Had a lovely couple of hours at Beale on Sunday after delivering some animals.
New exhibits for the Burmese Python and Tomistoma were great! Baby Tomistoma is very sweet. Excited to hear about the changes and new species/developments in the old reptile house.
First time seeing the new Tayra enclosure with occupant and he looks very happy!
Baby cuscus is adorable and a pleasure to see her so active and having some food. Best photo I could get with the low light levels.
Male porcupine was out and about despite the overcast weather, saw him have some lunch.
Saw both binturongs, albeit both curled up in bed.
Saw the face of one of the new Dwarf lemurs
Both Chacoan Mara sat out
Finally my partner and I were both very enamoured by the Berkshire pigs who were very busy doing what pigs do.

Those pigs are amazing....Beryl and Maureen have to be possibly my favourite animals in the whole park. (Particularly Maureen)
