In the 1960`s the landlord of the "Bear Inn" public house, Noak Hill Road, Noak Hill, Essex, kept a Himalayan Black Bear in a cage in the beer garden and brought it out on a chain to meet patrons on a sunday! Apparently he kept other "small animals and birds" can anyone supply any further details on any of this please ??
