Terra Natura Benidorm has announced that the have a baby female Bengal Tiger cub.Born 29/11/2010 and named Kali.
The small Kali, An Asian tiger (Panthera tigris) park Terra Natura Benidorm, has had to face at birth to the rejection of her mother, called Ela.
Ela has been met with a gestation of three and half months to give birth to this baby alive. Despite being born with symptoms of hypothermia, the small Kali has successfully dealt with its first two weeks of life. With this birth, is the second time the complex nature gets the reproducibility of this species in captivity. The first time there was a birth of the species on the premises was in 2007.
The animal responsible for the complex has shown this morning as a milk supplied daily to the kitten by bottle. Caregivers shots administered six times a day every four hours with a daily dose equivalent to 20% by weight breeding. To strengthen the power of Kali, is added to the composition ingested a supplement of calcium and vitamins. The cat's diet will change from two months and your milk supply will be supplemented with chopped meat intake. Gradually, reversing the proportion of milk and meat that the copy given to only feeding meat end.
