Best Exhibit for this Species

Detroit's looks like this, it is separated into two sections which can be blocked off or connected, with a bridge going down the middle that visitors can walk on:

That's a red Panda exhibit? Seems like a really nice Exhibit but that's not the species I'd expect it to hold by any means- looks like it would hold some kind of caprid or something.

The best exhibit for clouded leopards I have been to in person, which are not that many, would be the one in Tierpark Berlin. It is located in the recently renovated Alfred-Brehm Haus and now the enclosure consists of two natural open aviaries, with lots of climbing oppurtunities, a pond and great viewing possibilities through glass panels. You can still roughly make out the structure of the old exhibits, which underlines the amount improvement done here. In the inside of the renowned Alfred-Brehm Haus, opposite to a tropical hall, is the inside part of the enclosure. It consists of about 4 parts, formerly inhabited by leopard, tiger and mountain lion, which were expanded and redesigned with a more natural touch.

Concerning the best pygmy hippo exhibit Zoo Berlin takes the lead. The pygmy hippo exhibit is located in the beautiful hippopotamus house. The enclosure offers the pygmy hippos two rather big indoor exhibits, with a good amount of land and lots of water inhabited by fish. Part of the enclsoure is an outside exhibit aswell, which is rather spacious, with a long water moat and a quite a lot of grass areas, aswell as shelters.

So far, I've only seen 2 pygmy hippo enclosures (that still exist): 1 in Pairi Daiza and 1 in GaiaZoo.
The one in Pairi Daiza is not very good (the female is not too bad but the male has a very bad enclosure, to be honest).
The one in GaiaZoo, on the other hand, is very good. GaiaZoo has bred in this enclosure countless times and the enclosure is large and has enough vegetation. There are also several separation pens. Something that is missing however, is an underwater view, although the enclosure did have this in the past.
Below a part (left side?) of the enclosure:

Another reasonably good pygmy hippo enclosure (but not very popular on Zoochat) is the pygmy hippo enclosure in the Lied Jungle at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo:

Another enclosure that is not too bad is San Diego Zoos enclosure:

The Pygmy Hippo that lived in that exhibit at Omaha was transferred out a couple of months ago. There is another in a much smaller side exhibit just past this.

Good to know. Are there any photos of this exhibit on Zoochat?

Last time I visited the underwater viewing was still there, near the restaurant area

I would like to see what zoos have the best red panda and African penguin exhibits, not just because they are my favorite species but because I often see a lot of very similar exhibits and I want to see what looks different and new.

Red Panda I’m unsure about, but in terms of U.S zoos (I don’t really know much about zoos outside the U.S) African Penguins would probably be either San Diego’s or Maryland’s, I was also not able to find any photos of San Diego’s land portion.

Both red pandas and African penguin have been mentioned. You can add new submissions but try not to repeat exhibits. Also try to be descriptive with your submissions and include photos if you can.

Guys, in your opinion, which zoo has the best exhibit for Gorillas
I have yet to visit New York, But I’ve heard that Congo Gorilla Forest at the Bronx Zoo is an excellent exhibit. From what I’ve seen, both the exhibits at San Diego Zoo & Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo are great. The outdoor exhibit at San Diego is superior in my opinion, while the indoor exhibit at Omaha is pretty great, the outdoor exhibit is lacking some areas. I’m not to sure about other parts of the world, though.
