Best Gorilla enclosure in Germany

This is just a bit of fun to judge the general consensus on the best enclosure for Gorillas in Germany. I have added a few photos from the gallery to make it easier for members to compare the different exhibits. If anyone wants to make an argument for a particular enclosure, please feel free to do so. Also, I would encourage people to list the enclosures in order of what they think is best.

I know Münster is defenatly not the winner of this thread but their indoor area also includes this more spacious enclosure. If I remember correctly the one shown in this picture was the only indoor enclosure for them until the chimps moved out. And the indoor area shown in this thread is the former chimp indoor area. But now the gorillas use both enclosures (which also gives them 2.000 m² outdoor space).

Having visited Frankfurt yesterday, I have to give them my vote.

Frankfurt Zoo has both an impressive outdoor area and an excellent indoor section. I voted for it.

Score update. Frankfurt is flying ahead at the moment with another high quality ape exhibit.

Osnabrück's chimpanzee enclosure is the best gorilla enclosure Rostock and Leipzig are good, Frankfurt is alright but I never saw the animals outside. Hannover, Saarbrücken and Münster have good outdoor exhibits but not so good indoor facilities.

Do you think Hannover is good? It offers the animals very little.

Poll closed. Congratulations to Frankfurt for having the Best Gorilla enclosure in Germany. The large outdoor and indoor space gave them a win over several other pretty high quality exhibits shows that gorillas usually get the best off compared to other great apes, compared to chimp and orang polls which had a few poor enclosures. This is their second win, and shows the strength of the Ape house at the zoo, having won the Sumatran orang poll also, meaning two of the three ape enclosure have came in first.
