I knew the giant panda is no longer endangered and is kinda weird that it's still so famous as the cute and majestical endangered animal. But I didn't know edinburgh stop exhibiting other animals for the panda.I thought since edinburgh is so famous they will have a decent budget to exhibit the pandas without sacrificing other animals.Yes, please have a search on ZooChat and you will find plenty of information about it, not just Edinburgh, but costs, keeping laws and breeding laws in general of the Giant Panda. The Giant Panda is also no longer categorised as being 'endangered' now. There are 100's of other species endangered or above in greater need of help from zoos.
Assuming you mean Ocean Park Hong Kong, there are only one panda (An An) in the old panda house, and the part have been renovated to be the snubbies exhibit. The exhibit for Ying Ying and Le Le are quite good but i always take my attention to the red pandas more lol.The new panda house in Ocean Park is pretty stupendous - a huge upgrade from the old facility, at the very least. The main problem is that not all of their pandas live in the new house, and some are still housed in the subpar, old exhibit. That being said, it's reassuring to see that they're working on improving their enclosures and phasing out some of the older, more inadequate housing.
