Best Sun Bear enclosure in the Benelux

OK, so I've decided to continue where @britishzoofan left off on his "best enclosures benelux" threads he stopped doing a couple of years ago. I will do quite a few more threads after this. I will make it in a similar style to his threads.

This is just a bit of fun to judge the general consensus on the best enclosure for Sun bears in the Beneleux. I have added a few photos from the gallery to make it easier for members to compare the different exhibits. If anyone wants to make an argument for a particular enclosure, please feel free to do so. Also, I would encourage people to list the enclosures in order of what they think is the best.

Both these zoos have very good exhibits for Sun Bears, although I would give the edge to Burgers' Zoo. There's a more extensive viewing area there for visitors and the rocky ground is perhaps better suited to this species of bear, as they are notoriously hard on their environment in zoos.

They both seem like pretty good enclosures (considering I haven't seen either in person and only have experience of the current enclosures at Colchester and Chester), but I do like Ouwehands more aesthetically, due to it being more covered, greener, and flatter (I realise now it could be based on when/what season the photos were taken in).

Yeah, the photo for Burgers isn’t the greatest one for greenery. Here’s a greener photo of Arnhem:

Score update. Burgers are now over double the amount of votes to Ouwehands. This perhaps could be due to the better viewing, better terrain and the mix with Binturong.

Something that I particularly liked about the Burgers' enclosure is the large group of sun bears present, with 5 at the time of my visit last year. I don't believe that I have ever seen the species housed in such a large group, which coupled with the indoor viewing means that you are essentially guaranteed to see at least a couple of bears decently active, which is something you cannot often say for large carnivores such as these.

Poll closed. Congratulations to Burgers for having the best Sun bear enclosure in the Benelux. At first it was a close vote but Burgers zoomed ahead with over half the vote. This is Burger’s third win so far, having won the White Rhino and Chimpanzee polls and is set to win the Leopard poll.
