The enclosure has changed since I took the photo above, let me try and find a video from facebook to give a more updated perspective :)

I very much enjoyed my first visit in 2012, but felt that the place was in a state of marked decline and disarray when I visited a second time in 2018 sad to say..... but the Brown Bear exhibit is indeed excellent and - as you say - something of an overlooked gem.

Of course, one can see the vast majority of Wildwood's exhibit from the rope bridge which crosses the enclosure from above.

That isn't a bad exhibit for a new zoo, but I can't see anyone voting for it given the competition!

It is no surprise they won by such a landslide given the high quality of their brand new immersive exhibit. This is Wild Place's first outing in these polls and they have won comfortably straight away giving them a 100% record so far.

This poll was created before Hamerton's enclosure was open wasn't it?
Personally I would put it behind Wild Place and Five Sisters.
 
Camperdown is still open isn't it? I thought it was closed, otherwise I'd have visited last week. What's their bear enclosure like?
 
Wildwood Escot is another new Brown Bear enclosure since this thread was posted. Having seen it last week, it wouldn't be troubling the poll as yet - looks very 'phase 1' (not dissimilar to the back section of Hamerton's, but with only an open 'barn' rather than a proper house - and no massive paddock attached..!).

Would it be a contender for enclosures like five sisters?
