Poll closed. Congratulations to Port Lympne on winning the vote for Best UK Malayan Tapir enclosure. This is Port Lympne's first win in these polls and the Aspinall collections second victory after Howletts win in the African Elephant poll. However, interestingly despite the fact both collections have participated in a large amount of the polls neither have performed particularly successfully. They are also both poorly covered in the gallery compared to other collections of similar sizes. Chester once again did well to place second with another good enclosure.

I guess the agoutis are there as a temporary measure. They could easily close that path off so I guess they needed a space for the agoutis rather than feel the need to use the space productively. We can see from the rest of the zoo that they have no qualms about empty spaces after all.
