This is just a bit of fun to judge the general consensus on the best enclosure for Peccaries in the UK. I have added a few photos from the gallery to make it easier for members to compare the different exhibits. If anyone wants to make an argument for a particular enclosure, please feel free to do so. Also, I would encourage people to list the enclosures in order of what they think is best.

The Puma and Sloth polls are closing soon if you haven’t yet voted do so before it closes.

Where is the enclosure at Paignton now? Part of old zebra paddock? I didn't see it when I was there a few weeks ago, I assumed they'd gone as the new zebra stables were on their old enclosure

The only enclosure I have seen is dudley but I think that it works well for the peccary as they were all very active and later on in the day were basking in the sun in the mud wallow. So I voted dudley.

Yeah, dudley does seem to work well for the peccaries

I haven't visited Paignton since the peccaries moved to the former lechwe and emu enclosure (and I haven't visited Amazona at all), but, if I am thinking of the right enclosure, I struggle to see how it can compare to Paignton, whose enclosure is over a fifth the size of the entirety of Amazona Zoo!

Poll closed. Congratulations to Amazona for having the Best UK Peccary enclosure. The large enclosure clearly gave them the win. This is their first win.

Amazona: 75.0%
Dudley: 15.6%
Paignton: 9.4%
