Please cast your vote, I want to hear your opinion. (Note I did not include SD Safari park sense viewing is limited and I wanted to give other zoos a chance.) Please vote based on Quality, Size, Welfare, (for both Animals and humans) and realism.

Just thought I would give a few honorable mentions
La zoo
Reid Park zoo
Disney Animal Kingdom (Did not include because its more of a theme park than zoo, Still amazing though.)
Fresno Chaffee zoo (Good African exhibit, but awful Asian exhibit.)
OKC zoo
Cleveland metro park zoo

For me North Carolina, Dallas and Omaha are the three best in the country since they do so well at recreating the environment of the pachyderms. I choose North Carolina because it is the largest and grassiest- I haven't seen Omaha in person but plan to in the near future. To be honest, I don't think San Diego, Lowry Park and Miami belong in the top ten and I would consider Fresno Chaffee (Africans), Reid Park, Los Angeles and Cleveland to be better as well as Saint Louis, Birmingham, Cheyenne Mountain and Kansas City which you did not mention.
