Best Warty Pig Enclosure in the Benelux

This is just a bit of fun to judge the general consensus on the best enclosure for Warty Pigs in the Benelux. I have added a few photos from the gallery to make it easier for members to compare the different exhibits. If anyone wants to make an argument for a particular enclosure, please feel free to do so. Also, I would encourage people to list the enclosures in order of what they think is best.

For completion Planckendael also houses a warty pig in the largest Indian Rhino enclosure. I personally voted for Rotterdam since it's a solo enclosure. However all enclosure are fine. I don't know about the different substrates, in all enclosures.

Ok, I didn’t see this area when I visited and this photo is about 15 years old so it doesn’t surprise me.

They might still use almost the same indoor housing, just hidden from view by the terarria in front. I didn’t check the emergency-plans when I was there two weeks ago, it’s probably visible on there.

Planckendael no longer houses warty pigs with their rhino’s, though they might do so again in the future if they can’t immediately get rid of the current piglets when they mature.

They still house a surplus male Vlad with Gujarat at Planckendael inside the rhino enclosure. Vlad is on the list of surplus animals.

No warty pigs there anyway yesterday afternoon, only muntjak in both yards.

True not visible however I talked to a keeper and he confirmed Vlad was still there with the option that the piglets get moved if no space is found.

Score update. Dierenrijk's enclosure is out in front. The mixed enclosures seem to be doing them a favour.

Theyre still in that same corner, with way smaller and simpler stables. Been behind the scenes there once.

Poll closed. Congratulations to Dierenrijk for having the Best Warty Pig enclosure in the Benelux. The large enclosure mixed with Nilgai and the rhinos gave them a solid win. A mention is due to Rotterdam which did well to come second.
