Best zoo in each state

I don't think there is really any competition within the state, unless South Carolina Aquarium is much better than I think it would be.

I can assure you it's not.

The National Zoo is the best zoo in Washington DC!

I've never been to the Audubon Aquarium but I doubt I'd take it over the zoo especially with no marine mammals present outside of Sea Otters.

They don't even have sea otters anymore, sadly. The rest of the aquarium is kind of meh, it is smaller than I want it to be, solid for a mid size aquarium, but nothing that truly stands out.

Louisville is a really solid zoo, I am still working on my trip report, but certainly the best in KY.
