yes indeed, typically khaki or greenish faux-safari-suit type uniforms composed of shirt (long- or short-sleeved) and either trousers of shorts.

Are any zoos cashing in on LOTR and The Hobbit? I am picturing zoo keepers doing their rounds dressed as elves or something.

What about in countries like Indonesia? Any native wear?

Have there been any zoo uniforms anywhere with a theme for a finite time? So maybe staff dressing as Santa's elves for the month of December, or something to that effect.

Cairns Tropical Zoo uniform. Very practical for the climate, but not as short as I remembered them to be.

When I went to Monarto, I was amazed that some of the MEN had shorts this length! I actually commented to the rhino keeper "hey, nice shorts." zooboy28 would have been proud of me.
