The dorcopsis, skunks and opossums definitely are, unsure about the others. The opossums are offshow so unlikely to be seen unless you can arrange something. The dorcopsis are easy to see, and the skunk by all accounts is hit and miss…

At the moment our spotted skunks are behind the scenes temporarily. Same for our woolly opossums. All other species are pretty easy to photograph.
I try to keep our ZTL stocklist up to date with everything that is on display :)

Will both species be viewable again soon? We plan on coming in October.
 
I made it to the zoo last week and loved it. What other small zoo has Sri Lankan Leopards, Fossa, Eastern Spotted Skunks, Wallaroo, Wombats, Black Howlers, Dorcopsis, Allen's Gallinules, Red-footed Falcons and other rarities? Three Common Kingfishers looked almost mundane in comparison.

I was kindly allowed to see the Derby's Woolly Possums, four Sri Lankan Giant Squirrels and Eastern Spotted Skunk behind the scenes.

By all means, it is worth to visit!

Brilliant news that the Giant squirrels have arrived!
 
Yes, they were four behind the scenes. By the way, whenever I seen Giant Squirrels in the wild, they foraged on leaf bases or buds. One ate a piece of banana given to it. I am not at all sure that zoos feed them right diet, and that may be why giant squirrels rarely breed in zoos.
 
Does somebody knows if the caracal is still at Bestzoo? Zootierliste said bestzoo has a caracal. But where i thaught it was there was i think a second fossa. Does anyboy knows by chance?
