Bird handling in what sense? Like guests not allow to take pic with a macaw in their hand or what? The video is banned in my country :(

Which zoos have you "heard" have left, because if you can't provide evidence then you're just trawling gossip.
 
I have tried searching for any examples of zoos leaving Biaza due to the new standards and have drawn a blank. Whilst attempting to do so, I found statements put out my a large number of zoos in support of the new standards.

I have only found one reference to zoos leaving Biaza. That was a post in an anti-zoo Facebook group that claimed zoos were leaving Biaza as a loophole to avoid implementing the new regulations. It didn't mention which zoos had done so though.

I’m simply curious, as I’ve heard some informal discussions suggesting that certain institutions might be reconsidering their stance. Rather than saying they’ve "left," I should have said they may be "considering leaving." Of course, none of this is confirmed—it's just speculation at this point and driven by my own curiosity to hear others' perspectives.

Which ten zoos are "considering leaving" then?

Not wanting to sound rude but "hearing discussions about 10 zoos thinking of leaving BIAZA" sounds incredibly suspicious especially from someone who has only 3 posts.
Maybe you can tell us the 10 zoos or how you were in a position to hear this information it might give some substance to your story.

I too had heard that there was a 'rumoured' mass exodus - but that was before the new Secretary of States standards which impose it all centrally, where a zoo is a BIAZA member or not.

Why don't you post your own views and opinions on the subject of BIAZA membership and why you find their standards unrealistic or not.
