Big/Small cats in the UK

If you'd actually bothered to read the posts, you'd see TLD had referred to Exmoor Zoo as having received two Golden Cats (one he mentioned had passed away)

Given the fact that at the time he posted that a) you didn't believe my posts and b) his information was actually *more* up to date than mine, I don't think it is helpful or accurate to say he didn't read my posts. Shall we leave it there?

Out of interest, do you know any examples of litters of Golden Cats containing three kittens. I've only heard of single kittens, or twins being born but understand the litter size is 1-3 from other sources for this species.

Tierpark Berlin, well they are labeled that. Certainly look different.

That is just a case of Berlin not recognising the split of Malayan and Indochinese as valid of course......

I believe there is a smattering of true Indochinese in captivity, but only in southeast Asian collections. There are no true South Chinese left on the planet sadly, only Indochinese hybrids with a big chunk of SC blood which collections claim as true South Chinese.

I look forward to hearing if you find anything in the literature. I'm assuming in any cases of triplets, it most likely resulted in one dying at birth or in the first few days and only two surviving cubs emerging from the den. Most zoos wouldn't announce the birth and death of non surviving kittens but if you have comprehensive records of all births at an institution, you may find something.
