I just found some of photos of Billy in his new temporary exhibit. The temporary home is part of the China section of the Pachyderm Forest.

Great series - it looks like they are farther along than I thought (I don't remember seeing that completed yard when I was there in late January). The night shots with the construction spotlight are especially cool.

Actually, the yard has been done since early December, but due to the problems with the animal activists the zoo had not moved Billy until now. The exhibit is right across from the Snow Leopard exhibit.

Great slideshow of Billy in his new yard Mstickmanp! I was at the zoo Friday and could see Billy just after leaving the Snow Leopard exhibit. Lots of progress going on like pagodas and elephant statuary. Can't wait for this exhibit's completion. Should be L.A.'s finest yet.
