Anyone been to this park? I may try to visit Sunday, but it'd be a substantial drive. Is it worth it? I'm a big antelope fan and it looks like they have quite a collection of hoofed stock. If I make the trip, I'll get two new zoos under my belt as I'm checking out Detroit Tuesday.

Do you own the book "America's Best Zoos" by Nyhuis and Wassner? In there you will find comprehensive, multi-page reviews of 60 of the best zoos in the United States. I love the Detroit Zoo (particularly Arctic Ring of Life - which you must see first to avoid crowds), and ZooChat member "Ungulate" has visited Binder Park Zoo before so you could privately message him if you're interested in a keeper's viewpoint.

Thanks, Snowleopard. I'm either going to Binder Park or the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo. Fort Wayne has some surprisingly neat species for being just a "Children's" zoo. The thing that draws me to Binder Park is the huge African exhibit. Maybe I could see all three.......

Binder Park opened a new Snow Leopard exhibit last summer and from what I have heard it is a great exhibit.
