Bioparc Valencia Bioparc Valencia News

I doubt that very much, because almost certainly Mambi it's infertile.

That must be a first for Valencia?! :)

Now let us wait for the: elephants and rhinos (at some undetermined point in the future)!

Yes KB the first one ;) I Expect the first rhino (or elephant) birth with impatience.

'Mambi' is a very impressive male( he appears for longer on another video on Youtube). At Paignton Zoo he was rather isolated from the other males in the group as he was the only handraised one among the four youngsters. But he matured quite early on and very rapidly, into a fine silverback and had to be separated from the group, before being sent off to France. Its good he is now in the Valencia group and has finally achieved fatherhood status too.

At the end of november,Pambo, one of the male elephants of Cabarceno will be moved to Bioparc Valencia in order to breed with the 6 cows.He came to Cabarceno in 2009 from Tiergarten Schonbrunn(viena).

Pambo it's now in Valencia, I expect with impatience see him with the females in the public exhibit.

One month ago a male giraffe was born, his father it's Julius and his mother it's Zora. The newborn was named Ramses.

Very sad news, Pambo died last Tuesday completely sudden way :( RIP

Devastating blow to the breeding program at the Bioparc and for the EEP. I'm curious if they will try to source a new bull or wait for the Colchester male to mature.

Newspaper says: 'seems that Bioparc receive (we don't know when) another male elephant' in the next ( maybe) moths?

'Pambo not died by a infectious process' veterinarian staff says.

the bull from Osnabruk is the first bull that comes to mind. As his destination is still up in the air.

Foal Ok ;) many thanks Pertinax, seems that Ebo it's growing up well. Actually he is 5 months old.
