Here’s hoping that the majority of the effort goes into the orangutan enclosure, because at a glance the rest of it seems at least passable but that orangutan exhibit is dire.

The Birmingham Zoo is now a holder of the Perdido Key Beach Mouse (Peromyscus polionotus trissyllepsis), as they recently acquired 0.0.3 individuals from the Brevard Zoo!

On June 20th, the zoo announced they acquired a female (0.1) Virginia opossum named Rose in May, which is an ambassador animal.
