How many are male, and how many Female?
Are they on show now, or are they off show at Present?

im not sure of the sex ratio but they are onshow at present

have they settled in to their new aviary, is it a large aviary

they are currently being wintered in a indoor enclouser they will have a fairly large enclourser added on to this for the summer

i tryed to post this on the gallery but couldnt get it to work

urm only really the previous projects that have been mentioned before. we have a had a pair of buff necked ibis and a pair of victoria crowned pigeons

bloodycurtus, is this a holding facility they are in at the moment, it looks like quite a basic aviary, are they young birds?

kiang- yes the open billed enclosure is temporary for over winter they will have a new enclosures come summer.

hornbill- im afraid nothing much as really been happening since the open billed arrival the only new thing as the has been another penguin pool added into the plan the new pool is a raised pool with viewing windows and is about 2/3rds of the size as the original pool.

Blackbrook is well worth a visit, despite it being on one of the most lethal roads in Staffordshire. I go there quite often. Besides the birds, there is an adorable little otter living there which is a joy to watch at feeding time. There is also a little hospital and a hot house. They do very good hot chocolate as well.
