According to the studbook, although both born at Marwell both have different parents.

The baby orangutan born to Kawan and Jingga in June has been named Jarang, which means Rare in Malay.

Giant anteater born to Andina x Eskil, third offspring born with the other two since moved onto Zoo Leipzig in September 2018 and Bioparca in June 2022.

1.1 common ostrich arrived from Africa Alive - the zoo previously held South African ostrich, unsure if the remaining male has moved/passed away, however, he was living down near the giraffe.

There is an enclosure by the giraffe with a pretty random mix of animals connecting to the children's farm. Llama, ostrich, rhea, muntjac deer, zebu and alpaca.

Lilac-breasted roller is now mixed with the lovebirds and Inca tern signage suggests they're now mixed with the Magellanic penguins.
