The young was born on Dec. 9 and is the first young of mother Leontien, father is Puzzle.
Blijdorp recieved a new female Maned wolf from Zoo Szegned - Hungary.
At Rotterdam Zoo a very old White-handed gibbon-pair was put a sleep due to health problems.
The female Saar was 45 years old and the male Nico was at least 50 years. In the time together they produced 9 young at Blijdorp.
