Closed Bold prediction...

I predict that within the next 10 years the number of photos on Zoochat will be over 1 million, the largest and best zoo photo resource on the net...

Oh and over 500,000 will have probably been loaded by Snowleopard...

Very bold prediction, but if it keeps going at this current rate I'm inclined to agree.

If me and mhale's Marwell photos upload at the current rate, that does make it a reliable prediction. :) :p

I actually haven't seen anyone else doing that before... Is it a lot quicker than loading them individually..?

I very much like it, Orycteropus. I do find it frustrating how often you have to wade through hundreds of photos to find the ones that focus on the exhibit you're trying to look at.

Maybe a sub-set of the galleries could be dedicated to specific 'signature' exhibits? For instance, under Bronx Zoo you might find galleries for Congo Gorilla Forest, Madagascar, Wild Asia, Baboon Reserve, World of Birds, Jungle World, Tiger Mountain and Himalayan Highlands. Would make using the gallery - especially for zoos with hundreds or even over a thousand photos - easier to use.

I think it may well head that way in the future when individual zoos start getting up to 1,000 pics... Sim may have to designate some gallery mods..?

You could well be right about that  :D

Yeah, the reason why I do this is that the closely related photos being together ;)
