Bored of repeats?

I see Fiver is showing Zoo Days with Tejas as a cub yet again!

And Zoo Vet on Sky Three this week showed Flamingo Park with Polar Bears.

These shows are so out of date-surely there must be more up-to-date series that could be broadcast?

Anyone know? Who can I email?

It all comes down to money at the end of the day - there's a third series of 'Tiger Island' (for instance) more or less in the can but it hasn't seen the light of day due to ITV / Meridian cutting their local programmes. I guess they would show more up-to-date stuff if the budgets allowed. And, if new stuff was being made, the older repeats would get bumped to the back of the cupboard.

I don't know who to email - look for someone in the appropriate TV marketing area on Twitter, perhaps?

There is a new programme coming up about Whipsnade and London Zoo (I think it's on ITV) as they had an article about it in the members magazine. Not sure when it is coming out though as a volunteer on my last visit told me that they had extended the filming to cover the new baby rhino!

Trust me at the Lions at Chester today I heard someone saying where's the cub, on the tv the have a cub. I nearly pointed out to her "look at the Male Iblis he is a youngster compared to the lion on t.v" I held my tongue though. So I agree with the Original Poster they need new shows.

I appeared on animal park years ago when Longleat looked after Chessingtons tigers for a period while the enclosure had a revamp to be part of Trail of the Kings, it still crops up on BBC from time to time and its been 10 years at least, confuses the hell out of my grandma :)
