By pure chance I just happened to catch a short feature on The One Show on BBC1 about Borth. It sounds like this will be a recurring feature following the new owners as they take over and attempt to modernise the zoo, there was also mention of some issues with the previous owners to be shown on a future episode. There was also some mention of Raccoon Dogs as they have recently obtained some.
Presumably this will be available to watch on the BBC iplayer and may be worth checking out particularly for anyone with an interest in this collection. It was emphasised that, although the new owners have no real knowledge or experience of wildlife, they have kept all of the existing staff on and they are essentially running the zoo with the owners learning from them.
