Lok Kawi already has a male and female Bornean clouded leopard, but they told me when I was there that they don't want to try and put them together because they don't want them injuring one other. The younger female is on display; the male is off-display because he only has three legs (having lost the other in a poacher's snare)
I would this a commendable effort alongside awareness building and in situ conservation efforts for the clouded leopard in Malaysian Sabah and Sarawak.
