Breeding Successes At Your Local Zoo

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that the aquarium at Chester has a unique record for the only captive breeding of the Omani blind cave fish, Garra barremiae. I know the staff there have tried to repeat this success, but as far as I know, they haven't succeeded.

That is correct. They were still trying to breed them when I spoke to a keeper about 3 years ago. They have tried cooling the water, heating the water, increasing water flow, decreasing water flow, etc. Nothing seems to work.
