Bristol Zoo (Closed) Bristol Zoo news 2013

In this article, a reference is made to a "new drill house"; is this a new thing, or are they just referring to the old cage at the entrance i which the drills have been housed?

It's the old glass cage near the entrance, they have changed it a little, but it's still the same horrible thing. Apparently they now have Sousliks, where the Praire Dogs used to be, but i'm buggered if i could see them on my four visits to that enclosure. That's both the New Forest wildlife park and Bristol where i have failed every time to these animals. The zoo has changed a fair bit since my last visit 18 months ago. The averys near the heap of trouble exhibit are empty, Workmen were still working in the Gorilla house the day after the miserable excuse for a human being officially opened it. And the walkthrough tunnel in the aquarium, which apparently was the first ever in the world, is being demolished and a new one is being built to replace it.

Despite this official opening I believe this renovation is only partly finished and won't be completed until 'early 2014'.

Does anyone know how the Gorillas were/are being seperated from the areas where work is still in progress?
