I visted early today and had my first experience of a luminated nocturnal house. I haven't seen it mentioned elswhere but i saw five baby Quolls. They were under the nesting box in the front right hand corner.

Great news, did the female come from Leipzig this year?
Very sad news. I saw her as baby at Regent's Park in 1976 and I was always pleased to see her with her sons at Bristol.
Based on this Facebook post, it came from the Perth Zoo: Perth ZooWas just browsing Zootierliste and noticed Bristol is now listed as a holder for Goodfellow's tree kangaroo. Does anyone know where the animal(s) in question came from? I've tried looking myself and couldn't find any mention of it elsewhere.
Brush-tailed bettong at now on display in the nocturnal house. Blue-throated conure are on display in the outdoor aviary in Zona Brazil.
Can anyone confirm this ??Was just browsing Zootierliste and noticed Bristol is now listed as a holder for Goodfellow's tree kangaroo. Does anyone know where the animal(s) in question came from? I've tried looking myself and couldn't find any mention of it elsewhere.
It left Perth Zoo for Bristol. That's probably a good enough confirmation. Can anyone confirm this ??
All I can say is how irritating it is that 3 collections in England have one and they are all currently offshow!!
At least the Dusky Pademelons that have come in recently to a couple of UK zoos are on show though. All I can say is how irritating it is that 3 collections in England have one and they are all currently offshow!!
