Bristol Zoo (Closed) Bristol Zoo news 2020

I just had a newsletter email from Bristol zoo which stated the following :

"We are reopening some of our animal houses over the coming days

With the recent Government announcement and the switch from Tier 3 to Tier 2, we are in the process of reopening some of our animal houses. Over the coming days we will be reopening the Aquarium, Bug World, the Reptile House and the underground viewing areas of Seal and Penguin Coasts."

It would appear that for all the UK zoochatters able to make it to the old Bristol zoo site soon (before it closes...) it might be a good opportunity to do so.

Thanks for that Shirokuma, wasn't aware of this, still think it is a good opportunity and especially during these dark times to go and visit the zoo and make the most of the old site though.
Maybe, but the Nocturnal house is still closed, the best part of the zoo imo. I may have visited after Christmas but I think I'll wait until everything is open before making one last visit.

This bothers me less - I find the species in the nocturnal house more interesting.
Without the indoor Gorilla House, Nocturnal House, Reptile, Aquarium and Insect Houses, Underneath of Seals and Coasts,(Bird House?) there must have been very little to see at Bristol Zoo these past couple of weeks since they re-opened in early December- basically just the Lions, monkeys(?)a few other mammals like Warty pigs etc, and a walk around some bird aviaries. Presumably they must have reduced admission price?
