British zoo "speculation" thread

what endangered/critically endangered african "antelope" would you like to see more of? in the UK

Thought this would be a good idea, i know i and others have mixed speculation with news a bit too much

have a source (ie a keeper or volunteer for your answer unless you are one, or a piece of information any zoo has put out in the media past or present) and ask any question (big or small) even if its just a favourite animal of yours and you want to know where it has gone

i know we all want more animals out of zoo's but facts do need to be facts even if its speculation

i'll put an icebreaker poll up just to start the ball rolling (just a silly thing nothing speculative anyway)
 
Seeing as Belfast is supposed to get endangered Australian species in the former elephant enclosure, along with the more common fare of grey kangaroo and red necked wallaby (these two species are already onshow) is there anything they can reasonably source? I would say the elephant indoor area can also be home to species in an entirely indoors set up.
 
Not speculation but it may have already been addressed on the Paignton thread

The North african ostrich is no longer at paignton according to ZTL, does anyone know where she went?
