I agree with you but finding another place with the same conditions will not be that easy as you have to take in consideration that on those places other species have taken-in the niche of the Kihansi Spray Toads and it would not be good to by introduce one species ,
threaten another.

Anyone know what the Bronx Zoo's record is with breeding Formosan Sika Deer? I know they have them on exhibit in Asian Monorail but that's all I know about them (well, besides the fact that they aren't actually Extinct in the Wild dispite the IUCN status).

I'll be in New York next week (from 22 to 28 dec.) for christmas and I really want to visit Bronx Zoo. But which days will it be open? And which animales will be of exhibit the days the Zoo is open?

I believe that was all discussed for another member on the next page. Do me a favor, when you visit Jungle World and get to the nocturnal exhibit with slow loris and mouse deer check to see if the labeling says Lesser Mouse Deer or Greater Mouse Deer as it said Lesser during my November 2011 visit and I want to make sure that's what it is. Thank you.

This is a picture of a Cuban Solenodon at the Bronx Zoo. When did they have this species, where was it exhibited, and how well did the species do there?
