This isn't anything news-related, but it's something that's been bugging me for a while now, and I thought at least a few of you might be able to help me with it.
What bird species are we hearing in the ambiance in Madagascar? I've only been able to identify the cuckoo-roller and the pitta-like ground-roller, and suspect a Madagascar coucal is in there as well, but there are several other very common calls throughout the recordings that I can't figure out. (There are two stuck in my head right now; one that goes "coo coo CA-co" and one that is just a shrill descending wail of sorts.)
I know, given the heavier subject the thread's been discussing recently, this might be a silly question, but I'm desperate to find out.
