What’s next for Bronx Zoo after re-opening World of Darkeness, perhaps a renovation of one of their original areas, new habitats for animals, repurposing historic buildings like the Old Monkey House or reopening other closed areas of the Zoo?
Haven't they said in the future they'd love to do a South American part where Rare Animal Range was?All of these things have been discussed and mentioned to the public as things they'd like to do. Their masterplan is internal afaik, though, so there are no official word of what might be next for them.

Possibly that aliens among us exhibit too?I've read that, yeah. Also a reopening of the Monkey House. That was quite some years ago when they said that, though they also mentioned World of Darkness in that same interview so it could all still be on the table.

3 ducks died due to avian flu at the Bronx Zoo (along with another 3 at the Queens Zoo) and many vulnerable bird species have been moved.
New York City zoos taking precautions after several ducks die from avian flu, others being tested
Based on what the article says, it does appear some outdoor birds are being moved, although I won’t know specifics until I make it back to the zooHave they started to remove birds from the pheasantries or any other outside bird exhibits?

I’d expect the entire zoo’s bird collection to be off habitat with the indoor exhibits possibly also, I doubt a zoo with a bird collection like Bronx would take any risks.Based on what the article says, it does appear some outdoor birds are being moved, although I won’t know specifics until I make it back to the zoo
