All of these things have been discussed and mentioned to the public as things they'd like to do. Their masterplan is internal afaik, though, so there are no official word of what might be next for them.

That was a temporary exhibit that was planned for the WOD building for the 125th anniversary last year. The exhibit never happened, probably because of funds being redirected to Prospect Park following its flooding and temporary closure. Now that WOD is reopening, I doubt Aliens Among Us will happen.

Based on what the article says, it does appear some outdoor birds are being moved, although I won’t know specifics until I make it back to the zoo

I’d expect the entire zoo’s bird collection to be off habitat with the indoor exhibits possibly also, I doubt a zoo with a bird collection like Bronx would take any risks.
 
From a recent newsletter:
Male snow leopard Moutig will be moving to the Bronx Zoo as part of a breeding recommendation for this endangered species. A curious cat known to keepers for his distinctive vocalizations and his strong dislike for Como Zoo’s neighboring lions, Moutig first came to Como Zoo in 2016 from France as part of an international effort to diversify the genetics of European and North American snow leopards, and was selected to make this move by representatives from the snow leopard species survival plan. While keepers Hans Jorgensen and Caitlin Alessi are sorry to see him go, Jorgensen jokes, “He’s a big city cat, and with his vocalizing he could make it big on Broadway.” Au revoir Monsieur Moutig!

New Faces and Fresh Starts - Como Friends
 
Updates from today's visit:
  • There are two Red Bird-of-paradise chicks in the WoB nursery. They hatched on 12/30/2024.
  • Looks like the renovation of the leopard exhibit in JungleWorld is complete and the cover has been removed. Nothing on exhibit yet.
  • Tiger Mountain and the red panda exhibit were closed (at least for the day).
 
As the post above me has noted, Tiger Mountain was indeed closed today, and has been for at least the past week. The red panda habitat has been closed for quite some time now, with the animal returning for extremely short periods of time. I would say that at this point, Bronx Zoo is not a reliable facility to see this species, and if it is one that you are hoping to see, your odds are better at Prospect Park and Central Park.

Other updates from a visit today:

-The giant cloud rat baby is now on display in the mouse house! Still no signage for the pouched rat, but I did see the little guy active today, which was nice. The mole rats also appear to be back on habitat, though I did not see any.
-World of Darkness has been abuzz each of my last few visits, with lots of focus on the landscaping around the front. We are getting close it seems!

As of November 2023, they had 5 males (Naltar, Mike, Zoya, Hariyo, and a cub born in summer of that year) and 5 females (Sameera, Khyber, Dariga, Bala, and a female cub who was the twin of the male cub born that summer), according to @IndianRhino in the 2023 news thread though I'm not sure which two aren't there anymore.
